The average style of home for the Aztec was similar for everyone social class, with the only difference being size and the elabroate decorations.  The normal Aztec home was composed of two buildings, a main home and a steam bath.  The main house was made of adobe, and it was just one single room.  The family slept in one area.  The other building, the steam bath house, was a necesity in Aztec culture because Aztec doctors saw steam bathes as very therapeutic.  The steam bath had a chimney and a furnace that had to be constantly burning in order to receive the desired effect.
