Pueblos are build from adobe, which is a natural material sand, clay, water, and any sort of fibrous or organic materal
(such as sticks or straws). The stacked the bricks made by the adobe then filled in the cracks using mud in order to
block out rain, wind, and unwanted bugs. Wooden posts inside each room supported the roof which was covered with sticks
then grass, mud, and finally plaster. The Pueblo Indians build their homes in this fashion due to lack of wood and because
adobe was a plentiful material. Adobe build structures were perfect for the conditions of the Southwest, because they
were not build for a lot of rain. This is due to the fact that with rain, overtime, an adobe home would slowly dissolve.
